Fall Online Mini Retreat

Fall Online Mini Retreat

Gather on Saturday, October 19th on Zoom for a two hour mini retreat from 2-4 p.m. This seasonal offering will be recorded and shared the following day along with notes and prompts for later use. Register HERE.

In this online mini retreat, we will create space for a sacred pause where we will inhabit soul care through practices of receiving and releasing, breath work, guided meditation, journaling and creating. Our time to create will be much longer than a monthly Meditate+Create - so I’ll send any additional requests for materials ahead of time.

In addition to the list below, you are invited to have your favorite making materials on hand. I love having watercolors, colored pencils, markers, and more. Some seasons I enjoy having my sewing materials and using those to create.

Gather these materials or whatever you have on hand that you want to use ::

- paper or journal to write on
- pen or pencil to write with
- paper or journal to make marks/draw/paint on
- pencils, markers, and/or watercolor or other paint to make marks/draw/paint with
- water for watercolors
- water or favorite cuppa to hydrate and savor
- a candle and matches or battery operated candle
- a bowl or small container of water

You will receive an email a week in advance as well as reminder emails before the event and the day of. You’ll receive a follow up email with the recording and notes and prompts the day after.

As a Soul Care Yearly subscriber, you receive these quarterly gatherings as a part of your offerings.

Workshop Presenter - Sacred Pause :: Inhabiting Practices of Mindfulness as Soul Care

Workshop - Sacred Pause :: Inhabiting Practices of Mindfulness as Soul Care

Workshop Description -  As caring professionals, students, clergy, and human beings, we long for connection and belonging. We often long for a break in the pace of our daily living. During this workshop, those gathered will experience mindfulness as soul care through micro practices of free writing, guided meditation, mark-making & doodling, while listening to inner wisdom.  We will encounter ourselves as we are in this moment and reflect on the spaces of care we recognize need for ourselves and those we offer care to. Through experience, you will have a toolkit with which to engage in soul care for yourself and share with others.
